Vegas, A Shoppers Dream! (Besides 5th Ave That Is...)

Last month I took a week vacation to Vegas where I had only heard that the shopping was amazing. Now being a fabulously faux kinda girl, of course I can appriciate all the high end designer shops but how many Louis Vouitton, Prada, Tiffanys stores can I walk in without buying! So, when we started to hit the stores I could really dive into, I was more then excited to shop! My two obvious favorites were the many HM's (although I recommend the one in the Ceasers Shops) and the Forever21 in the Fashion Show Mall, which is the biggest in the US!




The HM's, I never do as well in, unlike Forever21. That's where my bank account really gets hit hard. Depending on the HM, I can usually find a few good pieces and always some accessorires. This time, I did okay. Not as great as New York stores. A few blazers, hats and a few little bracelets. Also, durring the Holidays, HM was giving out $5 gift cards with any purchase. Lets just say I picked up a few of those.






But Forever21 was where I about had a heart attack. With 2 floors and the store being as large as your basic Macy's, you can understand my excitement. I pretty much left with the entire store but I've provided you with a view of my picks.

Trend Alert!

So a new trend that we are loving is the knee high socks with pretty much anything. You can wear them casual or dressy. Be the first fashionista in your group to try it. Heres a few different looks that are paired with these cute socks. Try them with flats or heels, either way they will spice up your outfit. These socks should run you anywhere from $3 to $15.The short socks are also a cute way to dress up a plain pair of pumps so try those too with dresses or skirts and heels. Beautiful Burlesque Nails!

Burlesque the movie is soon to be in theaters and we can't be more excited. With all the glitter and amazing costumes, this movie is sure to be fashion buzz. Not only are we excited for the movie because some of our favorite celebrities are staring in it (Cher and Christina Aguilera), but OPI Nails has just came out with a line to go with the movie. All of the polishes have cute names to go with the movie including, "Ali's Big Break," "Bring on the Bling," Let me entertain you," and "Rising Star."



Check out some of the swatches and then head over to your nearest beauty supply store or nail salon and try out these shades. We are personally rocking the "bring on the bling" which is an assortment of glitter colors with a main tint of gold.

Calling All Disney Divas!

Do you love Disney as much as we do? We sure hope so. You know who else does? Forever21. They will soon be coming out with an entire line devoted to Minnie Mouse called "Minnie Muze." We here at Fab Fashion Fauxs are so excited for this! Adding a little bit of Minnie Mouse to your closet or your outfit will add just a touch of girly but young and flirty flare.

Forever21 has done some Disney character items in the past but never an entire line dedicated to the famous mouse! Check out the look book here and get excited for the new line! We know we will be rocking it the second it hits the stores and hope you will too.

Don't forget, to get this look, you don't need to be wearing the grafic tee with Minnie on it. Other ways to get the look would be by wearing a large black, red or polka dotted bow in your hair. Also, try the red and white polka dots on a dress or top. This gives off the idea of Minnies famous style without wearing the cartoon on your chest.

Glittery Pumps- Get Glam for Less

With the holiday season right around the corner, the glam look is back. Now for a fabulous fashionista, glam is never out, just toned down in the summer time. But again, since its fall and becoming winter, we're breaking out the sequins, beading and, of course, GLITTER! Personally, I love wearing anything with an extra shine to it but there are ways to be subttle. For example, everyone has been loving these glittery pumps from Steve Madden. You can wear them with a crazy glamorous outfit, or just a little black dress. Either way $129.00 on a pair of incredible shoes like these would not be a problem, at fab fashion fauxs, we are always looking for a better deal.
